Poetry night at Last Bite Café in High Falls


The Last Bite Café, located at 103 Main Street, between the Depuy Canal House and the post office in High Falls will feature a monthly poetry reading on the first Wednesday of each month beginning at 7 p.m. The Aug. 7 edition with featured poets, Robert Milby and Haigan Smith. Milby has been reading his poetry since early, 1995.  He is the author of Ophelia's Offspring (Foothills Publishing, 2007) and several chapbooks, most recently, Crow Weather (Fierce Grace Press, 2009). His poems have been published widely in anthologies and magazines, including local publications. For more info, visit Smith is a local writer and educator. His body of work addresses social, political, and personal ills relevant to today's world. He has been performing from NYC to Albany since 1997. A contribution of $2 is suggested.
